Jan Constantine Christmas Robin Pillow – Duck Egg Blue

Brimming with Christmas cheer, this beautiful duck egg blue wool cushion says it all!  The words CHRISTMAS, HAPPINESS, LOVE and PEACE surrounding the robin are appliquéd and exquisitely hand embroidered in antique gold thread, spreading the perennial Christmas message to all.  The beloved robin, the National British Bird, is standing amidst a display of winter foliage, holly and snowberries, all hand stitched in the old-fashioned way with chain stitch, satin stitch and blanket stitch detail.

This cushion will be treasured and displayed year after year at Christmas time.  It is destined to become an heirloom of the future to be passed down to the next generation, just like Jan’s very talented artisans who pass their skills down through generations.

The saying goes “whenever the robin red-breast flies into your life you will be blessed with happiness and joy”.
